Interviews: Petrick Jongkind

1. Introduce yourself to the Club Nintendo members.
I'm Petrick. You write that with an "E" because it is a combination of the names Peter and Erik. I'm 23 years old and live in Meerkerk, a village south of Vianen. I still live at home and go to work with my car.

2. What school have you done?
I follow a free education at the evening MEAO (economic). I have six subjects. For four subjects I have done the final exams. Then there are two subjects remaining those are Business economics and Informatics. I hope I can finalize those subjects soon.

3. Do you sport?
I'm a member of tennis club Meerkerk, so I play tennis. Sadly enough I don't have much time for doing that. Except for tennis, I do almost anything sometimes: volleyball and soccer, if it happens to be, just for fun.

4. What are your hobbies?
Video games of course. Those are the number ones for me. I also like to go out with friends and sometimes just drink something at a terrace, but you can't obviously call that a hobby.

5. Do you watch a lot of TV and what are your favorite shows?
To be honest, I don't watch any TV at all. Of course I'm sitting in front of it sometimes but then I'm mainly channel surfing". According to me more people are doing that?

6. What is your favorite music /artist?
I don't have any special preference. I just like about any music and also in there is some classic music. I like "Queen" if you specially want to hear a name from me.

7. How did you come to Club Nintendo as a game counselor?
I came to Club Nintendo as a game counselor, because I accidentally read an advertisement. I already was a video game freak, so I applied for it and they took me on.

8. How long are you working at this job?
Already for six months now….That is not so long compared to my colleagues of course, but I think that I know as much as they do. All together it's a lot of information, but at one moment you will get used to it! I don't want to quit for the time being, also because we, all together, form a good team and are enjoying ourselves.

9. About which video game do you get the most questions?
At this moment questions concerning "Battle of Olympus" are at the top. We also receive pretty many quetions about "Gargoyle's Quest". That's now just my favorite game. I can say I'm a specialist in it. As a matter of fact, all of my colleague game counselors do have such a game specialism.

10. What is the hardest question you ever had?
Some questions about "Solstice" are difficult for me. But as I said in my last answer, for that game we have a specialist too. That is Carola. If I don't know the answer, I simply ask her.

11. Last question. Which game for the Game Boy, the Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo are at this moment the number ones in the video game hit parade?
Game Boy: Gargoyle's Quest, NES: Super Mario Bros. III, Super Nintendo: Super Tennis.
